Responsibilities
As a Patient Care Technician, you will:
- Assist clients and staff with team needs throughout the facility.
- Support the treatment process within organizational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Review patient/client activities and communicate observations to staff.
- Ensure the building complies with fire and safety regulations.
- Provide clerical support to the treatment team, medication services, patient scheduling, and management of the unit office/tech station.
- Support recovery activities of patients/clients and relay observations to staff.
- Assist patients/clients from admission through discharge as part of the treatment team.
- Monitor and maintain patient/client medications as required by site.
- Ensure safety and compliance with regulations, including fire safety and guest/visitor expectations (site-specific).
- Perform driving responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass Level II background check.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Current Driver's License in good standing.
- Favorable Drivers Health Screen.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree.
- Previous experience in addiction treatment industry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- 2+ years' experience understanding the Twelve Step Process/Program.
