Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Technician, you will:

1. Assist clients and staff with team needs throughout the facility.
2. Support the treatment process within organizational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
3. Review patient/client activities and communicate observations to staff.
4. Ensure the building complies with fire and safety regulations.
5. Provide clerical support to the treatment team, medication services, patient scheduling, and management of the unit office/tech station.
6. Support recovery activities of patients/clients and relay observations to staff.
7. Assist patients/clients from admission through discharge as part of the treatment team.
8. Monitor and maintain patient/client medications as required by site.
9. Ensure safety and compliance with regulations, including fire safety and guest/visitor expectations (site-specific).
10. Perform driving responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass Level II background check.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Current Driver's License in good standing.
• Favorable Drivers Health Screen.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree.
• Previous experience in addiction treatment industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• 2+ years' experience understanding the Twelve Step Process/Program.
