A Luxury Hotel and an iconic landmark in Milan, nestled in the heart of the city, is seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef, be part of a team dedicated to culinary excellence and innovation.

As Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire pastry kitchen, ensuring consistent quality, creativity, attention to details and presentation across all outlets. You will lead, inspire, and develop your team while managing day-to-day operations to deliver outstanding guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage all pastry kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality products and consistency.
  • Supervise and mentor pastry staff, promoting professional growth and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design innovative pastry menus and seasonal offerings.
  • Personally prepare and decorate pastries, demonstrating creativity and technical excellence.
  • Control inventory, manage supplies, and monitor food cost in line with budgetary targets.
  • Represent the pastry department during special events, guest classes, and hotel promotions.
  • Foster a positive and motivating work environment that supports collaboration and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene standards, and local regulations.

Skills & Requirements :

  • Previous experience as Pastry Chef or pastry Sous Chef in culinary luxury environment.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Passion for culinary innovation and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Fluent in Italian and English is preferred.
