Position: Chef de Partie

The Chef de Partie will supervise the assigned station/section of the outlet kitchen to prepare a consistent, high-quality product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service.

Reporting directly to the Pastry Chef, the Chef de Partie is responsible for maintaining high standards in food preparation and service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Provide excellent service to internal customers as appropriate.
  • Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries courteously and efficiently, ensuring problems are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Oversee the assigned station/section and its staff to ensure food products meet required standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the station/section at all times.
  • Follow standard recipes and minimize waste to help keep food costs within budget.
  • Train associates in the preparation and presentation of items.
  • Suggest menu alternatives, meet specific customer requests, and interact with customers to exceed culinary expectations.
  • Implement all company minimum brand standards and applicable optional standards.
  • Collaborate supportively with other departments, fostering a team spirit.
  • Stay updated on seasonal and new market products.
  • Handle operating equipment carefully to minimize damage and reduce wastage.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience as Chef de Partie in a 5-star hotel.
  • 2-3 years’ experience as Demi Chef de Partie in a 5-star hotel.
