Position: Chef de Partie

The Chef de Partie will be responsible for supervising the assigned station/section of the outlet kitchen to ensure the preparation of high-quality, consistent products and to provide courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service. This role reports directly to the Pastry Chef.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Provide excellent service to internal customers as appropriate.
  • Handle guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries courteously and efficiently, ensuring problems are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Oversee the assigned station/section and relevant staff to ensure food products meet required standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the station/section at all times.
  • Follow standard recipes and minimize waste to help control food costs.
  • Train associates in preparation and presentation of menu items.
  • Suggest menu alternatives, meet specific customer requests, and interact with customers to exceed culinary expectations.
  • Ensure implementation of all company minimum brand standards and applicable optional standards.
  • Collaborate supportively with other departments in a team spirit.
  • Stay updated on seasonal and new product availability.
  • Handle operating equipment carefully to minimize damage and wastage.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience as Chef de Partie in a 5-star hotel.
  • 2-3 years of experience as Demi Chef de Partie in a 5-star hotel.
