Job Description:

Purpose of position

As the Publisher Development Manager – Italy, reporting to the Publisher Development Team Leader, you will be responsible for the proactive recruitment, onboarding, development, and GP growth of Italian publishers on the Awin network. Your role will focus on three main areas:

  1. Network Expansion: Working with the client partners in the FRITES (France/Italy/Spain) Regional Partnerships Hub to identify, recruit, and activate high-value publishers within the Italian client base and coordinate the launch of high-potential partners from external markets into Awin’s Italian client base.
  2. Strategic Publisher Development: Identifying strategically important publishers, deepening their reliance on Awin through joint-marketing plans, lead generation processes, custom reporting solutions, and co-creating case studies.
  3. Revenue Generation: Delivering service packages as standalone or integrated paid-for packages and long-term plans, ensuring a steady stream of opportunities via regional hubs, monitoring their uptake, and gathering feedback for optimization.

Key Tasks

  • Take ownership of a portion of the commercial targets for Italian Publisher Development.
  • Research growing verticals within the Awin network and develop a pipeline of new publishers to onboard.
  • Work closely with other Publisher Development teams to identify and launch high-potential publishers into complementary Awin markets. Provide regular reports to publishers, internal teams, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain and develop standardized Partnership Development processes across the group.
  • Manage relationships with assigned publishers and key stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation and development of new reporting and operational processes.
  • Assist marketing teams with case studies and content creation.
  • Collaborate with the wider UK and Global Publisher Development teams to expand publisher coverage and coordinate regional expansion and optimization projects.

Skills & Expertise

  • Experience in digital advertising, e-commerce, or performance marketing is a plus.
  • Highly commercially focused with target/results orientation.
  • Effective relationship-builder with an assertive approach to developing connections at all seniority levels.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
