Partner Account Manager Czech Republic and Eastern Europe

The opportunity :

This is a senior partner management role to drive business growth and pipeline with Named Partners in support of the company’s revenue goals. Managing all aspects of selected Named Partners in our Czech Republic and Eastern Europe region, this role is responsible for executing the company’s partner strategy, developing plans focused on pipeline generation, marketing, enablement, and aligning with Field Marketing and Sales teams across Czech Republic and Eastern Europe. The role is crucial for the success of the EMEA region, aiming to identify, develop, and drive pipeline with Named Partners and discover partner-originated revenue opportunities.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Partner Accounts Emerging Markets, the Partner Account Manager will apply insight and planning to promote OpenText industry and technology propositions with selected Named Partners, generating a pipeline of incremental sales opportunities supporting revenue goals. The role involves creating and supporting sales opportunities, marketing, and services initiatives to align OpenText and Named Partners regionally. The Partner Account Manager must work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, services, and support departments, providing leadership to achieve team goals.

You are great at :

  • Working closely with the Czech Republic and Eastern Europe region Marketing organization to drive business and pipeline growth with partners in support of sales teams.
  • Focusing on strategic partnerships and execution to build long-term value and sustainable success for OpenText and its Named Partners.
  • Contributing to the development of the Named Partner Strategy and Business Plan in the Czech Republic and Eastern Europe, collaborating with Sales Directors and stakeholders.
  • Working with Field Marketing and Sales Teams to develop enablement plans and marketing campaigns focused on partner-originated pipeline generation.
  • Working independently to achieve personal and team goals.
  • Engaging with Senior Management to foster closer collaboration among sales, marketing, services, and customer support teams.
  • Understanding the political structure of Named Partners and building senior executive champions to drive change.
  • Sharing best practices with other regional partner leads and stakeholders.

What it takes :

  • Proven experience in managing people directly or virtually.
  • Experience in enterprise software sales and management (direct and indirect).
  • Experience working with large software vendors like SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft is valuable.
  • Successful track record managing partners and developing partner relationships with measurable results.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Information Management or similar markets, competitors, and trends.
  • Experience partnering with local and international system integrators and technology partners.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally to meet objectives.
  • Strong business acumen with strategic planning skills.
  • Analytical and creative decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
