Part-time Senior Research Assistant in the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER) within the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 532754) (to commence as soon as possible until August 31, 2026).
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in education, psychology, language, or a related discipline. They should have at least 1 year of teaching or project management experience. They are expected to have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese (with proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua) and English. They should have good interpersonal and organizational skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. They should also be familiar with MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team. Priority will be given to those who have solid research experience in the field of education.
The appointee will assist the Lead Researcher to conduct landscape research and multiple case study of multicultural students in primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong. He/She will be required to design research questions, review literature, manage data collection (including design questionnaires and interview questions, conduct interview with target participants etc.), analyze research data, draft research reports and other resources, assist in publication of research papers, liaise with project team members and other stakeholders, provide secretarial and administrative support to the project, and perform other duties as assigned.
