Job summary

Kids&Us in Rome is seeking an energetic English teacher to join our team for a part-time role at the Roma Mazzini school. The position offers 6 hours per week across weekdays and Saturdays with training in our teaching method for children aged 1 to 18.

Ideal candidates are university students in Languages or Pedagogy, with advanced English and a positive, team‑oriented attitude. Flexible hours and a welcoming, stimulating environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience is a plus but not required.
• University students in Languages or Pedagogy are highly considered.
• Advanced or Proficiency level in English.
• Resident/Living in Rome.
• Strong interest in teaching and learn a new method to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare your classes using Kids&Us’ lessons, music, games, stories and arts and crafts.
• Monitor your students’ progress and guide learners towards their goals.
• Develop strong, meaningful relationships with students, their families, and your peers and mentors to support the growth of the children.
• Communicate in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.

We offer 1 teaching position:

• - Under the ANINSEI agreement, Fixed-term contract until the 31 of May with the possibility of a permanent contract.
• - teaching vacancy: at the moment 6 hours per week from Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturday in the afternoon (1 or 2 hours per day) and Saturdays in the morning (1 or 2 hours per day) with the possibility to increase some new hours in the following months.
• - Young and stimulating work environment.
