Job summary

Kids&Us Language School in Roma Mazzini is seeking an energetic and fun English teacher to join our team. Start in October with a fixed-term contract until May 31, with potential for permanency.

The position offers 5 hours per week (afternoons Mon, Tue, Fri and Sat; 1–2 hours daily) with Saturday morning hours and potential to increase later. University students in Languages or Pedagogy are highly considered; advanced English required.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching is a plus but not required.
• University students in Languages or Pedagogy (Bachelor or Master) are highly considered.
• Strong interest in teaching and learning the Kids&Us method.
• Advanced or proficiency level in English.
• Team player; Rome resident living in Rome.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classes using Kids&Us lessons, music, games, stories and arts and crafts.
• Monitor students’ progress and guide learners towards their goals.
• Develop strong, meaningful relationships with students, families, and peers.

Boost your CV: add teaching experience to your skill set. We will train you in the use of our teaching method for children from 1 to 18 years old. You’ll learn to:

• Prepare your classes using Kids&Us’ lessons, music, games, stories and arts and crafts.
• Monitor your students’ progress and guide learners towards their goals.
• Develop strong, meaningful relationships with students, their families, and your peers and mentors to support the growth of the children.
• Communicate in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.

Your background:

• Teaching experience is a plus but not required.
• University students in Languages or Pedagogy (Bachelor or Master degree) are highly considered.
• A Strong interest in teaching and learn a new method to apply.
• Advanced or Proficiency level in English.
• A team player: if you've played on a team, you'll fit right in!
• Resident/Living in Rome.

We offer 1 teaching position:

• Under the ANINSEI agreement, Fixed-term contract until the 31 of May with the possibility of a permanent contract.
• teaching vacancy: at the moment 5 hours per week from Monday, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturday in the afternoon (1 or 2 hours per day) and Saturdays in the morning (1 hour per day) with the possibility to increase some new hours in the following months.
