As we expand our European footprint, we are opening a flagship office in Paris and seeking a Managing Director and Senior Experts to lead key practice areas.
Managing Director : Responsibilities :
- Lead the strategic and operational development of the Paris office
- Build and manage a high-performing consultancy team
- Develop strong and lasting relationships with French and international clients
- Lead new business development in collaboration with the wider Rud Pedersen network
- Ensure quality, compliance, and accountability in all client work
- Represent the firm publicly in France’s political and business landscape
Profile :
- Senior-level experience in public affairs, government relations, consultancy, or related sectors
- Deep knowledge of the French political system and policy landscape
- Strong network across business, politics, administration, and media
- Proven track record in team leadership and P&L responsibility
- Fluent in French and English
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to connect local relevance with European impact
Heads of Practice – Key Sectors (Defence, Health, Energy, etc.) :
Responsibilities :
- Build and lead sector-specific consulting offers and client portfolios
- Design and implement public affairs strategies at national and EU level
- Engage with senior stakeholders in government, industry, and civil society
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to a strong team culture
- Collaborate with colleagues across Europe on cross-border assignments
Profile :
- 5+ years of experience in your sector, ideally with a background in consulting, politics, or regulated industries
- Strong network in your policy area and ability to bring insight and influence
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis communications, advising clients through reputational risks and complex public affairs challenges at national and EU levels
- Strong client-orientation and commercial mindset
- Fluent in French and English
