Competenze

• 3-5 years of automotive packaging development and industrialization.
• Strong knowledge of stamping, welding, assembly and logistics.
• Experience with vehicle launch programs and packaging strategy.
• Supplier management and project coordination experience.
• Capex/Opex knowledge and cost management.
• Industrial environment project management experience.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Italian & English language skills (B2-C1).

Freelance Packaging Engineer | Automotive Industry

Cassino, Italy (Hybrid) Freelance Opportunity Language: Italian & English language skills (B2-C1) Must be based in Italy - No sponsorship available We are looking for a Packaging Engineer to support the development and industrialization of packaging solutions for innovative automotive vehicle programs. You will play a key role in defining packaging strategies, coordinating suppliers, and ensuring project success in terms of quality, cost, and timing.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement packaging strategies for vehicle programs and launches Develop and industrialize automotive packaging solutions Manage packaging suppliers and project milestones Monitor costs, quality, delivery timelines, and KPIs Support CAPEX/OPEX investment planning and control Coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Plant Operations, and New Launch Teams Drive issue resolution and corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills

3-5 years of experience in automotive packaging development and industrialization (Junior profiles also considered) Strong knowledge of automotive processes: Stamping, Welding, Assembly, and Logistics Experience with vehicle launch programs and packaging strategy definition Supplier management and project coordination experience Knowledge of CAPEX/OPEX and cost management Project Management experience within an industrial environment Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Italian & English language skills (B2-C1)

xdwybme PMP Certification SAP knowledge Experience in multinational automotive companies Lean Manufacturing expertise Experience with STLA (Stellantis) or similar automotive platforms Knowledge of Global Transport & Packaging processes

Additional Information
