• GENERAL JOB FUNCTION: Accountable for designing, packaging samples, testing samples, calculating and optimizing loading on containers, and providing optimal drawings to secure quality and target costs.

Responsibilities, Duties & Authorities:

• Main responsibility: Collaborate closely with Customer, Sales, and PM to apply packaging protocols, including specifications and requirement updates to the latest version.
• Work with the technical team during the design of new samples to optimize packaging and loading (carton dimensions, type of carton/pallet, packaging materials).
• Review carton box drawings and packaging processes to improve packaging at the lowest cost.
• Lead PA technicians in creating packaging samples.
• Provide loading control following Sales requests.
• Research and evaluate new sustainable packaging materials.
• Implement, coordinate, and follow up on assigned projects.
• Support relevant departments in technical aspects such as carton design, loading optimization, and new packing materials development.
• Coordinate with PPD/Production on new items or packaging updates affecting factory WI.
• Conduct tests on packaging and cooperate with testing labs for transit, drop, and rotation tests as per customer protocol, then provide reports to customers, sales, or systems.
• Provide packaging drawings to Purchasing and BOM teams for costing.
• Ensure accurate setting and control of packaging options in the D365 system.
• Review and approve new material specifications related to packaging.
• Work with factory OM or CM on packaging/loading issues.
• Propose and implement packaging improvement solutions.
• Audit carton box suppliers and ensure compliance with ScanCom standards.
• Collaborate with PM, Sales, PU, Production, QA, PPM, TD, and Cushion teams for quick problem-solving and corrective actions to meet PFD/ETA commitments.
• Stop production if packaging quality or customer risk is identified.

Key Success Factors:

• Timely product delivery, passing all relevant tests within target costs.
• Improve first pass rate of prototypes to 85%.
• Complete sustainable packaging projects, reducing EPS/foam usage.

Additional Responsibilities on Unit Loads:

• Maintain IMS system documentation and procedures.
• Review and improve procedures and forms.
• Approve new documentation.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Monitor KPIs, risk evaluations, and improvement plans including CAPA.
• Train new staff on IMS management system.
• Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits.
• Contribute ideas for IMS system improvements.
• Participate in monthly IMS compliance reviews and report sharing.

Working Relationships:

• Internal: Collaborate with PM, Sales, CDD, PPD, QA, PU, and Production Units.
• External: Communicate with CMs regarding drawings and material suppliers as needed.

Yêu cầu công việc:

• Experience & Qualification:
• Trình độ cao đẳng trở lên, chuyên ngành Cơ khí hoặc kỹ thuật
• Ít nhất 2 năm kinh nghiệm trong lĩnh vực kỹ thuật, thiết kế, R&D, dự án hoặc cấu trúc thành phần
• Hiểu biết phần mềm kỹ thuật (AutoCAD, Inventor)
• Yêu cầu quan trọng:
• Thông thạo tiếng Việt và tiếng Anh
• Hiểu biết về cấu trúc kỹ thuật của packaging/loading cube software
• Nhanh nhẹn, chủ động, ham học hỏi
• Chủ sở hữu cá nhân, có khả năng quản lý dự án trung bình
• Kỹ năng giao tiếp, giải quyết vấn đề, làm việc nhóm, quản lý thời gian tốt
