JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

Packaging Designer - softgood industry will create concept pack designs, lead material selection, and develop core, secondary, and special edition packaging aligned with brand identity.

• Visualize creative concepts and designs for core packaging and special editions, focusing on soft good packaging.
• Create original designs for products and collections that meet target, quality, and production standards.
• Possess good knowledge of soft case developments and materials (textile, leather, etc.) across different market segments (luxury, entry, premium) and their interactions in packaging.
• Monitor the marketplace to identify opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
• Maintain consistency across collections and special projects through collaboration with various categories.
• Participate in prototype development, creating 3D models and mock-ups.
• Ensure design quality from initial mockup to final sampling before production.
• Provide feedback during fittings and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders, providing detailed specifications and solutions for challenges.
• Supervise design adaptations and ensure the final artwork samples are impeccable.
• Manage technical drawing processes in collaboration with engineering, conducting industrial trials.
• Organize and archive design concepts, samples, and materials.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers and engineering teams.
• Interface with internal and external customers, assembly plants, and central functions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Possess good knowledge of packaging production processes and decoration techniques.
• Maintain a good time management mindset.

Educational Background :

• Background in Fashion Design, Product Design, Accessories Design, or related fields.
• At least 5-7 years of proven experience in packaging design or soft good industry (e.g., luggage, leather goods, jewelry).
• Solid experience with design software (Adobe, 3D, AI platforms).
• Good communication skills across functions.
• Creative problem-solving approach.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Collaborative style with team-working ability.
• Willingness to travel.
