FAO’s Sub-regional Office for the Pacific Islands seeks a National Communications Specialist to support the STODAS project through communications, media production and knowledge management. The role requires coordinating with regional and national teams, producing compelling content, and ensuring adherence to FAO branding standards.

The incumbent will engage with local media, communities and stakeholders, delivering content in local languages where appropriate and advancing EU-funded project

Competenze

• University degree in communications, journalism, public relations, media studies or international development.
• At least three years of relevant experience in communications or public information in development contexts.
• Working knowledge of English.

Mansioni

• Manage STODAS project communication and visibility activities in coordination with OCC and focal points.
• Oversee end-to-end video storytelling and data-to-human-interest extraction.
• Develop project materials and templates while ensuring donor/FAO branding compliance.
• Guide policy briefs and knowledge products through the FAO publication workflow.
