Summary
In your role as P,R & HEOR Manager, you will provide insights and evaluations regarding the Italian external context to support the development of global strategies and define a competitive Novartis IM products access strategy at the local level.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing the market access plan and all activities necessary to ensure fast and lasting access for Novartis IM products at national and regional levels.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content and plans to manage access challenges throughout the product lifecycle.

The P,R & HEOR Manager will challenge the status quo to improve access to Novartis innovative therapies for patients.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Your Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Finalize and execute high-quality P&R strategies and plans aligned with product lifecycle objectives.
  • Analyze insights from the field on regional access issues and opportunities, anticipate changes in the healthcare landscape, and act as the access partner for the product team, working cross-functionally with sales, medical, marketing, and the Value and Access team at global, regional, and country levels.
  • Gather and generate high-quality RWE and health economics evidence (HTA, CEA, BIA, burden of disease, costs, literature analysis) to demonstrate value to stakeholders and support access.
  • Support and collaborate with HQ and field roles, collecting stakeholder information and developing analyses to support strategies and action plans, especially on access and economic issues at regional levels.
  • Ensure the roll-out of partnership projects based on stakeholder needs, in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Support the field access team with appropriate tools and resources.
  • Manage regional listing plans, engaging stakeholders and influencers, and coordinate the preparation of regional access plans and dossiers for listing.

Essential Requirements

  • University Degree in Science, Economics, or similar.
  • Postgraduate Master in Market Access and Health Economics preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical sector in Market Access, HEOR, or related roles, including internships, or in Commercial or Medical roles.
  • Technical knowledge in pricing, HEOR, statistics, epidemiology.
  • Strong clinical and commercial strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to translate strategic insights into practical initiatives supporting project value.
  • Understanding of payer/HTA/healthcare systems and their evolution.
  • Proven ability in real-world evidence generation and clinical trial design for market access.
