We are looking for Outside Sales to add to our Genoa Sales Team.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Handle the sales process for assigned customers, including needs analysis, solution design, and negotiation by visiting customers.
- Sell products/services to assigned accounts.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell within these accounts.
- Work alongside the Head of Sales, other Outside Sales, and Inside Sales throughout the sales process.
- Focus on maximizing both short-term and long-term results.
- Act as the primary face of ZIM in the marketplace.
- Maintain direct face-to-face contact with customers according to the visit plan.
- Foster relationships with the assigned set of customers.
- Manage and grow accounts.
- Identify and qualify customers' sales potential, troubleshoot customer problems, and develop leads and new customers.
- Work to achieve or surpass set targets.
- Comply with tracking requirements and take necessary actions for comprehensive tracking of accounts' financial performance and client satisfaction.
- Advise the Head of Sales in preparing detailed account plans, including spend forecasts, key insights, needs assessment, and growth strategies.
- Undergo required training according to the training program.
- Comply with tracking and reporting requirements to enable performance tracking.
Requirements
Professional and personal skills
- Completed apprenticeship in shipping or forwarding.
- Outgoing personality.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Team player.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in an open-plan office.
- Languages: English (Scale 1–7): 5.
- MS Office: Word, Excel (Scale 1–7): 4.
