The Outage Project Engineer (OPE) provides technical support to internal customers (PM/CPM/Service Manager) in preparation for critical shutdowns, following internal guidelines and embracing customer requests proactively. The OPE acts as the engineering entry point for internal customers and regional operations, ensuring smooth outage executions, promoting additional work, productivity, and cost avoidance.
During outage executions, the OPE supports shutdowns remotely or by participating in site activities, depending on customer needs and outage criticality. In both preparation and execution phases, the OPE collaborates with teams within Service Engineering and Service to improve data collection, share best practices, expedite issue resolution, and promote continuous improvement of maintenance activities. The OPE also maintains a strong focus on operational excellence, quality, and HSE culture.
