Job Description

MOSCOT is a growing company, opening our 16th shop in Forte Dei Marmi, Tuscany (Italy).

We are building the team from scratch, looking for a Shop Manager and 3 staff employees (2 full-time and 1 part-time) to join our new shop.

Our ideal candidates are enthusiastic, fun-loving, and hardworking opticians. These individuals enjoy providing superior customer service, are team players, and have a high degree of emotional intelligence. A love for fashion and a commitment to excellence are essential.

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Customer Service:

• Greet all customers pleasantly and courteously, providing clear directions and information regarding products and services.
• Understand the MOSCOT brand and story, and communicate this heritage effectively to customers.
• Create a memorable MOSCOT shop experience.
• Collaborate with MOSCOT team members to keep the shop tidy and organized.

• Answer and direct phone calls as needed.
• Respond to and collaborate with lab and shop teams on all orders.

• Assist with cycle counts, receipts, and returns of frame and lens inventory.
• Process inter-shop transfers in the POS system.
• Ensure tickets match physical frames.

Requirements

• Licensed optician.
• Clear and articulate communication skills with empathy towards customers.
• Previous experience in optical retail.
• Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• Availability to work on shifts.
