RINA is currently recruiting for a OT Security Engineer to join its office in GENOA, ROME OR MILAN within the Cyber Security and Management Consulting Division.

Mission

Rina Cyber is looking for an OT cybersecurity expert to join the Cyber Security division as an OT Security Engineer. The candidate will be involved in the provision of consultancy services in the cybersecurity field.

Key Accountabilities

The selected person will be responsible for:

  • Provide operational technology (OT) security expertise, including Risk Assessment and Gap Analysis, and implement monitoring and protection measures.
  • Conduct customer cybersecurity reviews and assessments, identifying possible OT security risks and recommending improvements. Develop strategies, roadmaps, and new operating models.
  • Offer consultancy at various levels in accordance with the IEC 62443 standard.
  • Collaborate closely with internal working groups to provide OT cybersecurity services on board ships.
  • Participate in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing activities to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in OT systems.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience in OT security and knowledge of industry regulations and best practices, such as IEC 62443.
  • Knowledge of the ISA IEC 62443 standard.
  • Knowledge of OT Security architectures and PLC, SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (VLAN, routing, mirror port).
  • Experience with passive analysis of protocols.
  • Experience in using penetration testing tools such as port scanners and vulnerability scanners.
  • Ability to perform Risk Assessment, Gap Analysis and implement protection and monitoring measures.
  • Experience in modeling, simulation and control of automation systems.
  • Skills in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.
  • Excellent communication and consultancy skills at various organizational levels.
  • Aptitude for teamwork and ability to collaborate with internal work groups and customers.
