Job summary

Dematic is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Compliance Lead to drive security for OT systems across the EMEA region. You will embed security by design, manage cyber risk, and ensure compliance with EU CRA and Machinery Regulation across projects from design to operation.

You will work with project teams, solution engineering, customers and suppliers to apply ISA/IEC 62443 standards, define reference architectures, and produce security documentation for handover and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of OT/ICS security experience.
• Working knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 and OT/ICS security fundamentals (network segmentation, hardening, secure remote access).
• Familiarity with EU Cyber Resilience Act and Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230; awareness of NIS2.
• Experience with material handling systems, automation solutions, industrial control tech, and supply chain logistics.
• Proven ability to write and produce technical and compliance reports.
• Ability to oversee internal and external security and compliance audits.

Responsibilities

• Translate EU Cyber Resilience Act and Machinery Regulation into practical, auditable OT requirements.
• Maintain readiness for regulatory milestones and approvals.
• Demonstrate system-level conformity and close integration gaps.
• Embed OT cybersecurity into the project lifecycle from design to handover.
• Author and review security requirements, architectures and risk assessments for bids and live projects.
• Produce handover security documentation and maintenance baselines.
• Apply ISA/IEC 62443 across OT systems (zones, segmentation, secure remote access, hardening, patch/backup).
• Define reference architectures, hardening standards and reusable security blocks.
• Conduct OT risk assessments, security testing and assurance reviews across projects and installed base.
• Support OT security incident readiness in coordination with IT Security and customers.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on OT security requirements.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
