Organic Pesticide Development Chemist Our company, a leader in the manufacturing and development of agricultural inputs, is seeking a professional chemist with proven expertise in the design and development of organic pesticides derived from natural sources, in compliance with international organic certification standards.
Location :
This is a remote position; however, periodic travel to Saudi Arabia may be needed for on-site collaboration and field activities.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in the formulation and development of organic crop protection products Proven experience in developing organic pesticides based on :
Botanical oils Plant extracts Naturally approved active substances
Strong knowledge of efficacy testing and stability evaluation for natural actives In-depth familiarity with international organic input standards (OMRI – EU Organic Regulations)
Key Responsibilities :
Formulate and develop new organic pesticides for insect, disease, and pest control Conduct laboratory analysis, field research trials, and performance validation Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure product compliance with organic standards Test and evaluate raw materials for biological efficacy and product safety
