Sorint.lab s.P.A., an Italian company with extensive experience as an IT consultant for major national and international clients, is seeking a Database Administrator for a full-time position.

The work will be performed with the possibility of hybrid work arrangements, so candidates residing near our offices in Milan, Rome, Bergamo, Turin, Padua, or Lecce are preferred.

The candidate will join an IT Database team (Oracle-oriented), as part of a general expansion of the team, focused on international delivery and operations.

Requirements include at least 3 years of experience or equivalent, with responsibilities including installation, configuration, management, maintenance, updating, and monitoring of Oracle databases.

The role includes:

• Installation and configuration of new hardware and software
• Patch management and upgrades
• Log monitoring and analysis
• Incident management using troubleshooting procedures and techniques

Technical skills required:

• Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Streams, GoldenGate, Backup and Recovery

Additional skills:

• Problem solving
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within the team

While not mandatory, a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is highly appreciated.
