Descrizione del lavoro

The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining network performance by building & changing network configurations and connections, troubleshooting L1 & L2 network incidents & problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, upgrade, configuration of various networking devices
• Provide support in External connection documentation
• Create and update internal low level and high-level network infrastructure documents including diagrams
• Update network related Disaster Recovery procedures
• Secure network system by enforcing ING policies and standards
• Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network and enterprise architects on network optimization.
• Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information
• Any other duties as assigned by management
• Rotate On call availability (8.00PM to 8.00AM including weekends and bank holidays)

Requirements

• University degree
• +5 years’ experience in the same role/position in an international and complex environment
• Cisco CCNA certification / CCNP nice to have
• Experience gained within financial industry is a plus
• Experience on Cisco Systems complex switching (Catalyst and Nexus) and routing environments, Checkpoint firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 complex load balancing/SSL/VPN solutions, Blue Coat proxy solutions, Cisco Systems ISE, Linux based OS security appliance administration, Paessler PRTG / Nagios
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
