Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operator at Gruppo Iren

Gi Group, Italy's leading employment agency with over 200 branches nationwide and more than 1800 HR professionals, is seeking a Warehouse Operator for Gruppo Iren, a leader in Italy's multi-utility sector. The position is based at the Emiliano Logistics Hub in Reggio Emilia and involves managing warehouse activities to support business operations.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Receiving incoming goods;
2. Verifying transport documents and accepting goods;
3. Handling, loading, and unloading goods;
4. Registering goods in and out of inventory;
5. Storing and safeguarding goods;
6. Processing withdrawal requests for goods;
7. Preparing outgoing goods;
8. Transporting goods between warehouses; conducting inventory counts.

Requirements:

• Technical High School Diploma;
• Driver's license B and ability to operate vans;
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes;
• Manual handling skills and ability to work at heights on warehouse ladders;
• Willingness to travel to different Gruppo Iren warehouses.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in logistics within medium/large companies;
• Knowledge of administrative documents related to logistics (e.g., DDT, Orders);
• Understanding of material handling and storage techniques;
• Familiarity with modern logistics technologies (e.g., RF terminals, WMS, ERP).

Location: Reggio Emilia

Employment Type: Apprenticeship contract with compensation based on experience.
