Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy-duty cranes for various construction and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
• Operate and control heavy-duty cranes in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
• Lift, move, and position heavy materials, equipment, and machinery at construction sites or other project locations.
• Perform routine inspections of the crane and its components to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential issues.
• Follow lifting procedures and rigging techniques to secure loads properly before lifting.
• Collaborate with ground crews and signalers to ensure clear communication during lifting and positioning operations.
• Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including lifts performed, maintenance checks, and any incidents or issues.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Crane Operator,
• Valid crane operator certification and licenses as required by local regulations.
• Solid understanding of crane operations, lifting techniques, and rigging procedures.
• Proficient in interpreting load charts and making calculations related to load capacities.
• Strong focus on safety and a track record of adhering to safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with signalers and ground crews.
