OPERATIONS TEAM LEADER

This role is in the UPS Healthcare Italia division, which operates in the pharmaceutical logistics and distribution market.

Place of employment: Somaglia

The Operations team is responsible for all core areas of UPS Healthcare's business, managing warehouse processes, inventory, and customer service & data management activities. If you have the right skills and the willingness to get involved in this role, UPS offers important career and continuous training opportunities to improve your skills to a higher level within the organization.

What your responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring that operations performed at the facility (reception, inspection, receipt, storage, VAS, picking, and shipping) are carried out in accordance with the approved procedures/work instructions and in compliance with EU GMP/EU GDP guidelines.
  • Managing and organizing all activities efficiently and productively in accordance with ISO 13485 and UPS HLD standards, and EU GMP/EU GDP guidelines.
  • Conducting performance reviews of the assigned department.
  • Controlling and optimizing operational aspects of the warehouse.
  • Reporting day-to-day activities.
  • Dealing effectively with internal and external (customer) issues.
  • Acting as backup for the Supervisor in case of absence.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of GMP and/or GDP guidelines is an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehousing.
  • Knowledge of various computer systems.
  • Able to work within time limits (deadlines).
  • Experience in supervision.
