Job Title: OPERATIONS TEAM LEADER

This role is within the UPS Healthcare Italia division, which operates in the pharmaceutical logistics and distribution market.

Location: Somaglia

The Operations team manages core activities such as warehouse processes, inventory, and customer service & data management. Responsibilities:

1. Ensure operations at the facility (reception, inspection, receipt, storage, VAS, picking, and shipping) are performed according to approved procedures and work instructions, complying with EU GMP/EU GDP guidelines.
2. Manage and organize all activities efficiently and productively, adhering to ISO 13485 and UPS HLD standards, and EU GMP/EU GDP guidelines.
3. Conduct performance reviews of the assigned department.
4. Control and optimize warehouse operations.
5. Report on day-to-day activities.
6. Handle internal and external (customer) issues effectively.
7. Act as a backup for the Supervisor in their absence.

Skills:

• Knowledge of GMP and/or GDP guidelines is advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehousing.
• Proficiency with various computer systems.
• Ability to work within deadlines.
• Experience in supervision.
