Your Role

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Operation Project Leader to join our growing organization. This individual should be self-motivated, creative, and proactive, capable of working successfully in a dynamic environment that includes multiple platforms, architectures, technologies, and work environments. The role is based at our HQ in Cesena, Italy.

The Project Leader will collaborate with the Operation Department and a cross-functional team to manage new strategic projects aimed at extending and strengthening our international manufacturing footprint. Key responsibilities include project scheduling, resource allocation, coordination of manufacturing layout activities, and the integration of new manufacturing technologies and processes.

The role also involves overseeing the phase-in of new products according to the overall planning of the new manufacturing footprint. Working with other business areas (R&D, T&M, QA, etc.), the Project Leader will optimize and monitor new production processes, cycles, quality, and technological standards. This is an international role requiring willingness to travel and stay abroad for short periods.

Your Impact

• Manage problem-solving activities related to project management and manufacturing (6σ, Kaizen, etc.)
• Manage factory layout and assembly line layout, including project Gantt charts
• Lead sub-projects such as machinery and automation system introductions
• Conduct SWOT analysis of technology and layout solutions with the team
• Evaluate and optimize internal logistics flows with the team

About You

• Degree in mechanical or management engineering focusing on production and logistics
• At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing, production, methods, or logistics
• Experience from automotive, whitegoods, or industrial companies with series production, complexity, and continuous improvement focus is a plus
• Knowledge of welding, metal, painting technologies, and processes is an added value
• Understanding of production and assembly processes
• Fundamentals of Lean methodologies (Value Stream Mapping, SMED, DMAIC, 6σ, etc.)
• Goal-oriented with good interpersonal skills
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is advantageous
• Enthusiasm, humility, proactivity, and a passion for sport and physical activity
