Your Role

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Operation Project Leader to join our growing organization. This person should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, able to work successfully in a dynamic environment that includes multiple platforms and architectures, technologies and work environments to join our Global Operation team in our HQ (Italy-Cesena). The resource, in staff with Operation Direction and together with a cross-functional team will take care of the management of New Strategic Project to extend and strengthen our international manufacturing footprint. The main tasks will be to manage the time scheduling of the project, the proper allocation of resources and competences, a general coordination of manufacturing lay-out activities including the introduction of new manufacturing technologies and processes.

The role will also look after the phase-in of new products according to the general planning of the new footprint. Together with the other business areas (R&D, T&M, QA, etc.) it will have the task of optimizing and monitoring the new production processes, production cycles and quality and technological standards that will be introduced.This role is an international role and requires willingness to travel and to stay abroad for short periods of time.

Your Impact

  • Management of Problem Solving activities (6σ, Kaizen, etc ...) related to project management and manufacturing
  • Management of factory layout- assembly line layout and project gantt
  • Management of sub-project as the introduction machineries and automatic systems
  • Swat analysis of technology – layout solutions together with the team
  • Evaluation and optimization of internal logistic flows together with the team


About You

  • Degree in mechanical or management engineering with a course of study focused on production and logistics.
  • Experience of at least 4-5 years in a similar role or in manufacturing, production, times and methods or logistics area
  • An important plus is a background from Automotive, Whitegoods Industry or Industrial companies with series production, characterized by complexity, manufacturing technologies and focused on continuous improvement and problem solving.
  • Knowhow of welding – metal – painting technologies and process is a an added value
  • Knowledge of production processes and assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of Lean fundamentals (Value stream map, SMED, DMAIC process, 6σ, lean activities, …)
  • Orientation to achieve objectives
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • team working skills
  • Excellent computer skills (office, autocad, cad..)
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Power BI will be considered a plus.
  • Enthusiasm, Humility, Proactivity, Passion for sport and physical activity complete the desired profile.
