Your Role

We seek a talented and motivated Operation Project Leader to join our growing organization. This role requires self-motivation, creativity, and proactivity to work successfully in a dynamic environment involving multiple platforms, architectures, and technologies. Based at our HQ in Cesena, Italy, you will manage strategic projects to expand and strengthen our international manufacturing footprint. Responsibilities include project scheduling, resource allocation, coordination of manufacturing layout activities, and the introduction of new manufacturing technologies and processes.

The role also involves overseeing the phase-in of new products according to the planning of the new footprint. You will collaborate with R&D, T&M, QA, and other departments to optimize and monitor new production processes, cycles, quality, and technological standards. This international role requires willingness to travel and stay abroad temporarily.

Your Impact
  • Manage problem-solving activities (6σ, Kaizen, etc.) related to project management and manufacturing.
  • Oversee factory and assembly line layout planning and project Gantt.
  • Manage sub-projects such as machinery and automation system introductions.
  • Conduct SWOT analysis of technology and layout solutions with the team.
  • Evaluate and optimize internal logistics flows in collaboration with the team.
About You
  • Degree in mechanical or management engineering, with a focus on production and logistics.
  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar role or in manufacturing, production, methods, or logistics.
  • Experience in automotive, whitegoods, or industrial companies with complex series production and continuous improvement focus is a plus.
  • Knowledge of welding, metal, painting technologies, and processes is advantageous.
  • Understanding of production and assembly processes.
  • Fundamentals of Lean methodologies (Value Stream Mapping, SMED, DMAIC, 6σ, etc.).
  • Goal-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm, humility, proactivity, and passion for sports and physical activity are highly valued.
