Role Overview

The Operations Manager Production & IT oversees event architectural production and technology infrastructure during the Olympic Winter Games Milan Cortina 2026. The role involves ensuring all audiovisual, lighting, and IT systems meet design and operational standards, collaborating with design, technical teams, and internal departments to ensure seamless execution and high service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee event architectural production and technology infrastructure, ensuring alignment with official plans and standards.
• Coordinate with design and technical teams to optimize production and IT operations.
• Ensure compliance of all production elements with venue requirements, safety, and technical standards.
• Supervise setup, integration, and troubleshooting of audiovisual, lighting, and IT systems.
• Support communication and workflow among production and IT teams during setup and event execution.
• Report progress, challenges, and recommendations to the Operations Director.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 10 years of experience in event production, operations, or IT within hospitality, entertainment, or events.
• Expertise in AV and IT infrastructure and system integration.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Based in Milan.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance, and emergency planning.
• Experience in sustainable practices and commitment to sustainability.
