For our Italian market, we are looking for a strong operations talent in the northern part of Italy who will manage our local clinics independently.

In this role, you will oversee the management of our clinics by working with the clinic staff and our management to ensure the operational implementation of our goals. From personnel to process issues, you will maintain an overview and optimize workflows. Your goal is to achieve optimal operating results and corresponding patient satisfaction through an efficient workflow, ideally through expert knowledge of ophthalmological operations.

Join our team in Italy as an Operations Manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
In this role, you will
  • Be responsible for clinic operations:This will focus on our local clinics and includes support in their day-to-day business, being a point of contact to our clinic manager and shareholding doctors, as well as providing a hands-on approach that allows you to act as a clinic manager in smaller clinics.
  • Implement process optimization: This will focus on local processes (operations, sales, and marketing) with the local team in the clinics, ensuring excellent quality of care through continuous process optimization and quality management measures.
  • Define Strategies for Growth: Achieving our growth targets in close collaboration with senior physicians and our country management is a vital part of your role, preparing regular and comprehensive reports on key performance indicators, continuing budget planning, and documenting progress as well as challenges at the site.
  • Conduct people management:Manage local staff and help build up a team together with the country management, including contract management as well as personnel decisions.
Your profile includes
  • A degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on healthcare economics or something comparable.
  • Extensive professional experience in operational management, budgeting, and project or change management, ideally within clinics or healthcare facilities related to ophthalmology.
  • Relevant knowledge of the Italian healthcare framework, including standards and legislation.
  • A high level of motivation and initiative and the flexibility to work in different locations. You will demonstrate a team-oriented approach with implementation strength to internal contacts. You will demonstrate diplomacy and negotiating skills with external contacts.
  • Excellent English and Italian skills (level C1 or above), as well as, ideally, other language skills such as German, Spanish, Polish, or Czech.
  • A curriculum vitae in English for screening reasons.
