Euronet is seeking to employ an Operations Manager for the Merchant Acquiring business, who will oversee the daily operations and strategic initiatives related to merchant acquiring services in Italy.

This role involves managing merchant management, supervision of service partners, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices, optimising operational processes, and driving operational efficiency through effective management and support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operational Efficiency:Develop and implement operational processes to optimise and improve merchant acquiring service delivery.
  • Customer service:manage the service partners, call centre and other internal or external units providing services to the end customers. Provide 2nd level support to the customer service units, regularly measure the services delivered.
  • Reporting and documentation:Manage internal and regulatory reporting, update and maintain local operational documents
  • Partner management: Manage and measure suppliers, vendors and partners. Supervise the procurement, repair and related logistics.
  • Product development: Participate and represent local operations in projects. Support product deployments, rollouts, and other projects.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in IT, Technology, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the payments / retail industry or operation / service management.
  • Proven ability in coordinating internal and external units.
  • Strong understanding of card present payment solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good English knowledge (both verbal and written).
  • Eligible to work in the European Union, without the need of visa sponsorship.
  • Experience with eCommerce payment gateway solutions and/or cash register integration as well as familiarity with payment solutions, regulatory and operational practices, will be considered a plus.
