We are searching for an Operations Manager - Food Ingredients for an international Food Ingredients Company with a global network of plants, sales offices, and R&D centers.

Location: Northern Italy, onsite

Please note:

• Apply only in English, not Italian.
• Must have experience in Food Ingredients and technologies like drying, extraction, and mixing.
• Language Skills: Fluent in Italian and English.
• This role involves managing some European plants, requiring travel.

Primary Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all plant and supply chain operations within company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for plant production goals.
• Establish and maintain positive community relationships.
• Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
• Conduct employee performance reviews.
• Schedule and lead plant meetings.
• Oversee product quality control.
• Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar position.
• Significant manufacturing knowledge in the food industry.
• Advanced interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Strong ability to build and motivate a team.
• Experience with technologies like drying, extraction, and mixing.
• Experience in B2B with multiple SKUs.
• Knowledge of Batch & Continuous Production.

Key Skills

English speaking, Access Control System, Cloud Computing, JDE, Light Bus and Heavy Bus, Building Electrician.
