The Opportunity:

As the Operations Manager, you won't just be managing a production floor; you'll be leading a team of 450 professionals across multiple shifts, shaping the future of automotive manufacturing. You'll be the driving force behind their production operations, overseeing everything from plant maintenance to critical production activities.

What You'll Do:

  • Inspire & Lead: Mentor and motivate a team of 5 direct reports and up to 450 production employees, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Orchestrate Success: Collaborate with department heads to ensure they not only meet but exceed their manufacturing objectives, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive Financial Performance: Develop and execute business plans and budgets that maximize financial results.
  • Set the Pace: Establish and maintain world-class standards for plant performance in both production and quality.
  • Streamline Operations: Minimize overtime and repair expenses, ensuring a smooth and efficient production flow.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Implement lean and continuous improvement methodologies to elevate operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Build a Safety-First Culture: Integrate robust safety procedures into every aspect of production, prioritizing Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency.
  • Collaborate & Conquer: Partner with other departments to ensure seamless operations and on-time product delivery.
  • Fuel Team Morale: Cultivate a positive and engaging work environment through open communication and a team-oriented approach.
  • Develop Future Leaders: Provide leadership training to empower their team to surpass company goals and objectives.
