As part of our continued international expansion, we are seeking an Operations Director to lead and accelerate the growth of Hardis Group Italia.
The opportunity
Reporting to the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the operational strategy of our Italian subsidiary. You will lead business operations, develop high-performing teams, strengthen client relationships and ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
You will oversee the functional, technical and people-related aspects of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while managing client relationships in coordination with the sales teams.

Business development within existing accounts
Strengthen relationships and grow business with existing clients.
Contribute to the design and development of high-value service offerings and participate in presales activities.
Support the sales team in presenting the company’s delivery model and organisational structure.
Operations and project delivery management
Organise day-to-day operations.
Ensure successful project delivery in terms of quality, budget and timelines.
Anticipate risks and deviations, and establish and manage the corresponding action plans.
Regularly monitor projects, including workload, costs, quality, timelines and client service levels.
Manage project resource allocation and internal and external service providers.
Prepare and lead client steering committee meetings.
Manage projects directly when necessary or take over project leadership when the situation requires it.
Deliver projects in line with commitments on scope, cost, quality, timelines and service levels.
Coordinate Build and Run activities.
Ensure company policies and legal requirements are clearly communicated and properly implemented.
People management
Lead recruitment processes, interviews and onboarding programmes.
Conduct annual performance reviews and manage salary increases and bonuses in accordance with the Group’s HR policy.
Provide strong and engaged leadership to maintain team cohesion and high levels of motivation.
Communicate and implement the company’s strategy and the Group’s HR policies, while adapting processes to the subsidiary’s specific needs.
Promote and monitor skills development; define and support action plans to strengthen individual capabilities and improve collective performance.
Financial management
Define the subsidiary’s budget in collaboration with senior management.
Drive improvements in the subsidiary’s profitability in line with the business plan agreed with Hardis Group.
Oversee commercial operations, financial performance and investments.
Control expenditure and optimise costs; prioritise initiatives based on expected return on investment (ROI) and business growth potential.
Manage project financial performance and profitability in collaboration with Project Managers.
Report on the subsidiary’s financial results, profit and loss (P&L) and profitability.
Oversee invoicing.
Develop and implement plans to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Information security
Understand information security challenges and threats.
Apply the security policies and rules in force.
Report and elevate any security incidents in accordance with established procedures.
Follow the rules and procedures defined by the Information Security Policy (ISP) to ensure information security and data protection, particularly within the framework of ISO 27001 certification.
