With over 60 years of operation at our Distribution Center in Cadorago, we engage daily with Southern European customers and suppliers to promote sustainability within the Label Packaging Materials () and Graphic Films () sectors.

Job Description

What we can offer you! - Your Role:

As Operations Coordinator, you will join our high-performing team in Cadorago (Como area), reporting directly to the Distribution Center Manager.

Your Mission:

1. Provide operational and strategic support for safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost reduction objectives, enhancing customer experience and organizational performance.
2. Utilize manufacturing equipment effectively, identify optimization opportunities, and collaborate with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions across functions like Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service.
3. Ensure timely manufacturing and shipping of products according to customer requests, complying with safety, quality standards, regulations, and stock management policies.
4. Motivate, develop, and supervise a team of over 40 staff in a 24/5 production environment, leading continuous improvement and engineering projects.
5. Support the implementation of the Distribution Center Network and Local Strategy, focusing on safety, quality, service, cost, productivity, and team development.

Qualifications

What we expect from you! - Your Expertise:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Production Planning, or Warehouse Management, with people management experience, preferably in manufacturing or packaging industries.
2. Degree in Engineering, with a preference for specialization in Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement.
3. Knowledge of project management tools (Lean, Six Sigma, KPIs) and continuous improvement processes, with high safety awareness.
4. Fluent in English and Italian.
5. Passion for continuous improvement, creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit to grow a sustainable business at Avery Dennison.
