Operational Technology Network Specialist

Position

The Operational Technology Network Specialist is responsible for the operation, performance, reliability, availability and security of DCS network. This position specifies principles and Standards in the network architecture design of all OT technologies and a.ssure their application to the projects. Reporting to Head of Engineering Office, the role interfaces with the Project team leaders to provide leadership and guidance on project activities and providing supervision to support the teams in the procedures of Third Parties OT Network design and management

Requirements

• Master or bachelor’s degree in computer science / information systems or High School diploma in the same discipline (in the latter case a greater demonstrated experience is requested)
• Experience in the design and commissioning of automation systems
• Demonstrated knowledge to configure all OT network devices (including servers, workstations, switches, routers and firewalls).
• Demonstrated knowledge of operating systems and server hardware installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge of OT protocol (i.e. IEC61850, Modbus. Profibus, OPC) configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in installing and configuring SCADA servers and SCADA client hardware
• Good knowledge of the Italian and the English languages (B1 minimum);
