Job summary

Porsche Consulting is seeking an Operational Excellence Consultant to lead interdisciplinary teams across Consumer Goods, working with C-level executives to design scalable, sustainable solutions. You will manage project workstreams, engage senior stakeholders, and present recommendations to leadership.

You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, addressing manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and logistics transformation, while traveling to client sites 80% of the time

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Industrial preferred).
• 3–5 years experience in industrial operations, supply chain, or process optimization.
• Experience with Consumer Goods value chains and cross-border projects.
• Involvement in operations strategy, footprint design, and industrial-network redesign.
• Knowledge of IIoT, AI/ML, Big Data, AR/VR, and Digital Twin.
• Experience in leading teams and allocating resources.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking with entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willingness to travel; proficient with MS and AI tools.
• Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Fluency in Italian and English; German a plus.

This role requires full availability to travel (80% of your working time will be spent at client sites in Italy and abroad (EU and extra EU).

Your profile

• Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering) or an equivalent qualification. A relevant PhD or MBA is considered a strong asset.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in industrial operations, supply chain management, manufacturing excellence, or process optimization within international organizations or consulting firms operating across Consumer Goods.
• Solid understanding of the broader Consumer Goods sector, including its value chains, operating models, regulatory environment, and key dynamics.
• Demonstrated involvement in shaping operations strategy, optimizing footprint design, and redesigning industrial networks
• Knowledge of enabling technologies, including the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Big Data & Analytics, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Digital Twin technologies
• Direct experience managing teams and resources
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Enthusiasm for driving change
• Excellent command of Microsoft and AI-powered tools
• Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Fluency in both Italian and English. Knowledge of German is a plus
• Willingness to travel and embrace new challenges

In accordance with applicable Italian pay transparency requirements, the annual gross base salary for this role in Italy starts at € 44,000. The final fixed salary will be determined based on objective, role-related criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, demonstrated skills, and overall fit for the role.
