Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Land Installation Controller to serve as the financial and controlling reference for onshore installation activities in Milan. You will partner with Installation and Site Execution teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget and within scope.

You will monitor costs, track budget vs. actuals, analyze deviations, and support corrective actions with site teams while linking site progress to KPIs and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Requires a Degree in Engineering or economical background.
• Experience in onshore installation, construction or EPC projects.
• Strong exposure to site execution and operational environments.
• Background in installation contractors, jointing/cabling companies or specialized subcontractors.
• Ability to read technical drawings, method statements and contracts.
• Advanced Excel (cost tracking, data analysis, reporting).
• Strong communication with technical and financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control land installation costs (labor, subcontractors, materials, equipment, logistics)
• Track budget vs. actuals, analyze deviations and support corrective actions with site teams
• Link physical installation progress to financial performance and KPIs
• Analyze productivity, crew efficiency and subcontractor performance
• Ensure alignment between contractual scope and site activities
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and cash flow for installation scope
• Support variation analysis, extra works and claims
• Act as financial counterpart for Installation Managers and Site teams
• Contribute to process improvement, standardization and project close-out activities
