Project: iRNA@IIT - Study of LINE-1 retrotransposons as long non-coding RNAs in brain development and diseases

Commitment & contract: collaboration contract, duration: 24 months

Location: CHT Center for Human Technologies – Genoa

WHO WE ARE

YOUR TEAM

You will be part of a multicultural, multidisciplinary team including molecular biologists, genomic technologists, and computational scientists collaborating on common research projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Analysis of RNA-protein interaction networks, nanopore sequencing, neuronal cell cultures
2. Supporting a constructive working environment
3. Effective communication and collaboration with team members

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE

• A PhD in molecular biology, genomics, neurobiology, or related fields
• Strong background in molecular biology
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative attitude
• Proficiency in spoken and written English

EXTRA AWESOME

• Experience in brain histochemistry, primary neuron culture, or iPS cells
• Experience in bioinformatics and data analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills
