Job summary

DEC Italia, based in Palestrina near Rome, is seeking a Technical Sales Draughtsperson to join its design and sales team. You will combine drawing and design skills with quotation preparation and client relationship management.

Responsibilities include developing technical drawings, analysing specifications, preparing offers, supporting the sales network, and coordinating with production and the technical department to drive orders from inquiry to contract closing.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or technical degree required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong AutoCAD (or CAD/BIM) knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical drawings and design solutions.
• Analyse specifications and client requests, checking technical feasibility.
• Prepare quotations and commercial offers.
• Provide technical support to the sales network.
• Manage contacts with clients, designers, suppliers and international partners.
• Coordinate with production and the technical department.
• Manage orders and follow up on offers through to contract closing.
