We are looking for an On-Site Service Technician to join our Process Automation team. You will ensure that the Service portfolio is delivered effectively according to ABB standard processes and safety guidelines to satisfy customers. You will execute technical support, act as a specialist, and solve problems in your area of expertise. You will communicate proactively with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities are utilized for service growth. Location: Sannazzaro
- Your responsibilities
- Installing and maintaining Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems, carrying out repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Preparing service reports and records necessary for quality assurance.
- Supporting sales with service offers for revamping, upgrading, and spare parts on systems.
- Dealing with technical site interventions during on-call service availability, which could include overnight or weekend work.
- Performing site work following the service plan according to ABB’s technical, commercial, and health & safety standards.
- Your background
- Degree or Diploma in Electrics or Electronics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in service, preferably in Petrochemical, Refinery, Chemical, Oil & Gas, or Power Plant markets.
- Knowledge of maintaining Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems. Proficiency in various service and testing methodologies, relevant in-house and industrial standards related to Measurement Products, Analytical, and Service.
- Willingness to travel for frequent short or medium-duration missions (including abroad) and ability to proactively manage customer relationships and critical situations. Valid driving license required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to manage on-call service and on-site interventions according to schedule, 24/7/365.
- Fluent communication skills in Italian and good English proficiency.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite.
