A leading automotive manufacturer is offering an On-Site Summer Internship for Engineering students in Parma, Italy. Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience in analyzing production processes and implementing improvements. Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and possess teamwork and self-starting abilities. Experience with Auto CAD, SolidWorks, and manufacturing processes is a plus. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with flexible hours based on course requirements.

Overview

Duties & Responsibilities

The Summer Engineering Intern will gain valuable, hands-on experience in the analysis of production and manufacturing processes. You will learn to identify opportunities and implement changes that improve quality, safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness; troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving design, material, or process. Candidates must be team-oriented, self-starting, and willing to assume practical application in a professional environment setting.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Pass pre-employment screening (drug & background)
Desired
  • Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering student with an interest or experience in process improvement within a manufacturing setting
  • Previous or automotive experience; basic understanding of industrial automation, Auto CAD, SolidWorks, PLC, CNC, robotics, SPS and machine operation
MACI Intern Schedule
  • Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM EST - ON-SITE may be flexible, based upon course schedule requirements
  • Ability to start by or before end of May 2026 through mid-August 2026
