Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our Capaccio-Paestum, Italy team on a freelance, on-site basis. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network gear in a world-class data center environment.

The role requires expert cabling skills, strong problem-solving, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. A track record in data center operations and vendor certifications are preferred; DCIM knowledge is a plus.

Competenze

• 3+ years in data center operations
• Expert cabling skills: Cat6/6a and fiber (OM3/OM4/OS2)
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation abilities
• Vendor certifications preferred (Dell, HPE, Cisco)
• Data center certifications preferred (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE)

Mansioni

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security)
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades
• 3+ years data center operations experience
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber)
