Job summary

Saipem in Milan is seeking a Planning Engineer to join the Project Control & Risk Management team. You will oversee scheduling and progression for complex onshore and offshore projects, interfacing with multiple functions to ensure baseline documents and contractual requirements are clearly communicated to the team.

Requirements include a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Engineering, 3–5 years in Oil & Gas, and English level B2.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3–5 years in Oil & Gas (Offshore or Onshore).
• English level: B2.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing and coordinating with other Company Functions, prepare all reference baseline documents including the schedule, and communicate requirements clearly to executing teams.
• Ensuring the Planning and Progress Control System is implemented in compliance with the contract, WBS, standards and specs.
• Updating all Project Schedules, collecting actual data, evaluating forecast dates, monitoring progress and deviations from the baseline schedule, and signaling when corrective actions are needed.
• Participating in coordination meetings (internal or client) and maintaining records for events like claims, productivity, and materials status; supporting change/claims with time impact analysis.
• Planning, Scheduling & preparing procedures for Project Control verification; creating 90 days look-ahead schedules and performing schedule risk analysis.
