  • Overview
  • As an Office and Community Manager for Oliver James Milan, you will join the growing Oliver James Talent Management Team and report directly to the Talent Manager based in Milan.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Office Management
    • Maintain office efficiency by managing supplies, equipment, and spaces to ensure a clean and functional work environment.
    • Coordinate logistics for meetings, gatherings, and internal events, handling reservations and organisational aspects.
    • Nurture vendor relationships and oversee office-related services.
    • Coordinate logistics for meetings, gatherings, internal events, and provide support as a PA / Executive Assistant to the County Manager and the Management Team, such as booking travel and organizing logistical details.
    • Fleet Management: monitoring costs, road traffic violations (fines), and managing relationships with vehicle suppliers, vehicle allocation, and return.
    • Community Management: devise and execute initiatives that strengthen the sense of belonging within our corporate community; organise internal events, including team-building activities, workshops, and social experiences; collaborate with departments to identify engagement opportunities.
    • Internal Communication: manage company announcements, updates, event promotions, and curate communication channels.
    • Feedback and Improvement: gather employee feedback, analyse data to assess impact, and propose optimisations.
    • HR Support and Cross-Collaboration: assist the Talent Manager with HR projects and collaborate with the People Operations department in Manchester.

    Requirements:

    • Degree preferably in Communication, Human Resources Management, or related fields.
    • Experience in office management, event planning, or community management is highly valued.
    • Basic knowledge of HR admin and payroll processes.
    • Excellent organisational skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Creativity in designing initiatives and events.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Understanding of corporate dynamics and employee engagement best practices.
    • Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish is a strong plus.
