Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an enthusiastic Product Development Engineer for its Edge Devices Group in Italy to support Non-Volatile Memory verification and quality improvement. This entry-level role focuses on failure analysis, root cause determination, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance product reliability.

You will contribute to verification planning, data reporting, and development of test firmware with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted testing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of electronics and semiconductor devices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, and tracking of verification activities.
• Define requirements for verification test programs/sequences based on specifications and usage models.
• Perform Electrical Failure Analysis and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams.
• Report data clearly with concise findings and comments.
• Collaborate on DFMEA/DFT/DFM deliverables and improve product quality through testing and AI tools.
• Develop and support Test Firmware for production and NAND verification.
• Build and maintain understanding of product functionality and assist in software/hardware tool development.
