Your Role

In order to strengthen our R&D Engineering Team at Technogym Village (Cesena), we are looking for a NVH Equipment Performance Engineer with vibroacoustics and structural analysis skills, strong leadership, interfunctional leading skill and deep passion for premium equipment development and high end customer experience improvement.

In this position, you will be part of the R&D Engineering Team and will support Product Development and Experimental Area in the definition and achievement of what future NVH equipment performance will be in terms of sound and feel.

Your Impact

  • Conduct and document Setting, Deployment and Achievement of NVH targets for selected equipment, in line with time and budget constraints
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Team, Structural and Vibracustic analysis suppliers, material suppliers, component suppliers to address equipment’s NVH behaviour and anticipate and resolve possible trade-offs between contrasting requirements
  • For the selected equipment define, together with the Team, the simulation/demonstrator(s) plan (FEA, NVH Analysis, Prototyping) to guarantee the NVH compliance to specifications
  • Perform Equipment measurements and subjective evaluations
  • Develop and implement noise/vibration reduction strategies, select materials, solutions and suggest design modifications based on vibroacoustic and structural analysis findings in collaboration with cross-functional teams including design engineering, R&D, and suppliers
  • Act as a coordinator when solving occasional critical NVH issues both on developing and on existing equipment


About You

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related Engineering field (e.g. Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial)
  • 3-5 year's of previous experience in NVH & Sound field seniority
  • Solid knowledge of structural dynamics, acoustics and related signal processing is mandatory to manage the activities
  • Ability to organize and/or conduct NVH test campaigns, both operational and static (e.g. modal analysis, frequency response, etc.)
  • Capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, thinking analytically, including attention to details and critical thinking ability
  • It is important to be proactive in proposing new solutions to optimize all the processes and activitie
  • English fluency is an advantage for the position
