Competenze

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Location: Florence Family Practice – Florence, AZ

Hours & Schedule: 4x10 hour days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in Florence; Friday in Coolidge. 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Work Environment: Outpatient Family Practice Clinic

Travel Required: Yes – one day per week to Coolidge

Salary / Hourly Rate: $110,000-$130,000 based on experience, plus productivity incentives

Bonus Offered: Productivity bonus structure

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, and develop treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests including blood work, X-rays, and ECGs
  • Prescribe medications and administer therapeutic treatments
  • Provide wellness counseling and health education to patients and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
  • Triage patients and determine necessary follow-up or specialist referrals
  • Perform procedures such as immunizations, suturing, wound care, and injections
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and medical assistants
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and internal case reviews
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Arizona
  • Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
  • Master of Science in Health Sciences or related field
  • Current approval from the Joint Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Arizona (for NP roles)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in family medicine or similar
  • Experience with EHR systems preferred
